Homework for Kahu 4
For all 2017 students should be doing the following homework...
Maths: Learning the Smart Times Tables so they can be instantly recalled
including divisions
Reading: Reading at least 15 minutes a night or a chapter a night
and entering each chapter onto their reading log
Spelling: Spelling lists along with putting each spelling word in a Sentence
and finding their meanings.
Also: Passion Projects / Word Class Rap / Novel Study
Word Class Rap
Every
name is called a noun as field and fountain,
street and town
In
place of noun, the pronoun stands, as he and she can
clap their hands
The
adjective describes the noun, as magic wand and crazy clown
The
verb means action something done, to read and write
to jump and run
How
things are done the adverbs tell, as quickly, slowly,
badly, well
The
preposition shows relation as in the street or at
the station
Conjunctions join in many ways, sentences, words or clause and
phrase
The
interjection cries out hark!!! It needs an exclamation mark!
